Maria began her career at the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (Rospatent), where she conducted examinations of invention and utility model applications from both domestic and foreign applicants, as well as international examinations under the PCT procedures. She later worked in leading governmental and commercial organizations, overseeing matters related to patent clearance, patenting, and litigation involving intellectual property rights.

Maria possesses in-depth knowledge of patent research, management of intellectual property rights, and protection of rights in administrative and judicial bodies, including the Chamber for Patent Disputes and the Court for Intellectual Property Rights.
